Let’s cut to the chase, depersonalization is just another word for dehumanization. And when anybody feels not-human, there is a serious problem. That’s when we reach the danger zone of burnout.
Wow, great wrap-up to the series. I’m particularly struck by the idea of “one-down” comments that nip adversarial one-ups-manship in the bud and instead foster genuine human connection. I’ve never seen anyone articulate the idea quite that way, and it definitely fits with my way of thinking.
